I’m Will Johnson. I work in equipment leasing and finance, and this site is where I publish research on the industry: who is growing, how credit is behaving and where the equipment cycle is heading.

The analysis runs on public data I collect and maintain: FDIC call reports for every bank with a lease book, SEC filings from public lessors and captive finance companies, and macro series from the BEA, the Census Bureau and the Federal Reserve.
